I'm an activist, a self-taught R&D Engineer, who have a strong interest in ethics and pragmatism. Hence, I value simplicity over complexity. I also prefer fairness over equality.

I design systems that empower people, rather than making them dependent from locked-in solutions. Allowing autonomy through accessible user interfaces and great user experience. Only possible after learning the persons needs, using qualitative user research. I also love writing and maintaining documentation databases.

I'm involved in projects aiming to improve health and living conditions for marginalized people. I propose a multidisciplinary approach, backed by academic studies in humanities (sociology, philosophy & history), professional experiences in arts (cinema, music), computer sciences (system administration, teaching) & practical works as a carpenter, mason, car/truck mechanic & farmer.

I translate important texts in French sometimes, and also write about a few other things on my blog. I enjoy walking outside, taking pictures. When my health condition allows it, riding a mountain bike, skiing, hiking or Muay Thai boxing. But you'll usually find me cooking food, listening to music or watching movies, spending as much time as possible with people I care for.
